If you're passionate about fishing, then don't come to Malta unprepared! Being at
the center of the mediterranean, plenty of fish migrate close to the Islands, including the most
famous lampuki (dolphin fish), saddled bream, swordfish, albacore, amberjack, barracuda and a large variety from the Tuna family.
Unfortunately for tourists, fishing charters are still uncommon and very expensive, but you can always look around or
rent a boat.
We will have fishing charters available from this website in the near future, however you can still contact
us now if you want us to arrange something for you.
From the rocks you can catch a variety of smaller fish (normally between 5cm and 30cm). Squid fishing is also very
popular in its season, between November and March.
