A guesthouse with 3 rooms and a traditional maltese restaurant serving authentic maltese cuisine, run by 70 year old Giannina and her son. Full of Maltese character & tradition, it is the perfect retreat for country side lovers.

Xemxija (meaning sunny in Maltese) is a quaint village situated in the North-West of the island between St. Paul's Bay and Mellieha. Except for 5 restaurants (including Greek, Chinese and French) and 2 hotels, there are not many amenities in Xemxija. Nevertheless neighbouring villages of Mellieha or St. Paul's Bay can be easily reached by public transport or by walk in 15 minutes.

The guesthouse enjoys a terrace overlooking the country side with Selmun Palace at the background. A private roof for sunbathing is also available. Restaurant and bar are open all day. The 3 bedrooms range from 2 beds to 4 beds. Extra beds can be arranged. Rooms and bathrooms are kept impeccably clean, sheets and towels are changed regularly. Dinner at the Restaurant including starter & drink will set you back around 10 euros. TV in the room is available at an extra charge of 2.50€ / day.

The building has just been refurbished, and for 20€ per night this Guesthouse is recomended.
